Creating a data source connection to a search source

To import data from a search source (such as Apache Solr) into MicroStrategy Web, you must first create a connection to the search index that contains the data to import. Steps to do so are provided below.

Prerequisites

You must have the Web Import Data privilege.
Read Best practices: Importing data into MicroStrategy Web.
You have already created the search index that contains the data to import.
